Looking over the River Sil Canyon

A Casa da Eira is an old Galician farmhouse restored as a rural hotel. The traditional construction materials have been respected in the restoration. The most characteristic is its a long balcony from where you can enjoy a view over the River Sil Canyon. It is located in one of the most beautiful and, at the same time, more prosperous areas of Spain: in the Ribeira Sacra, specifically in Alberguería de Nogueira de Ramuín, Ourense. A house that is three. And much more

This rural hotel in the Ribeira Sacra, in fact, consists of three houses, another to completely restore and three land plots. It has a main house with five double bedrooms, all with full bathroom ensuite; kitchen, lounge / dining room, second lounge and services. Its useful area is 200 m2. There are also two other houses that contain two large apartments, each with two double bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom. Its useful surfaces: 60 and 70 m2 respectively. The property also has another semi-detached house to completely rehabilitate 90 m2 (45m2 per floor). The house has internet connection with broadband. The garden is inspired by the old culture of country gardens

The rockery garden is located in front of the old communal threshing ground (era in Spanish), hence its name Casa da Eira (in Galician). Behind there is a garden enclosed by walls that borders the hotel buildings at two ends. In total they have an area of 385 m2. The property has municipal water supply and sanitation.

Chestnut trees and Romanesque

This rural hotel is in the historic area of the Ribeira Sacra known for its monasteries and Romanesque art. The town is framed in a landscape of centennial chestnut forests. You can do many activities nearby: cultural routes, hiking, canoeing, climbing, cycling, multi-adventure sports, boat trips through the Sil Canyon. The same in summer as in winter. All houses have central heating and hot water. Three of the four houses have wood stoves and the fourth house has a pellet stove.

It is half an hour from Ourense capital, with excellent rail frequency and, soon, High Speed line to Madrid and Vigo. And an hour and twenty minutes from the international airport of Vigo, the nearest.
