In Figueras, within the municipality of Castropol, Asturias, we found this property. Castropol lies on the banks of the Ría de Ribadeo, the estuary where the Eo river flows into the Bay of Biscay and a part of the biosphere reserve. This river, famous for its salmon and trout fishing, is the natural border between Galicia and Asturias. It is a land of large houses built by emigrants to America. They are the famous “houses of Indianos” that mark, mainly, the Cantabrian coast.

Following the stairs, we go up to the second floor. There are three other bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom. Also two huge storage rooms, on both sides of this floor, which has a total area of 210 m2. Finally, on the attic, there is a storeroom loft of about 70 m2.

This amazing manor extension is 937 m2 built, plus two external buildings: a warehouse that includes a boiler room and laundry/iron; as well as a beautiful game room. They have 60 m2 each. Also, inside the garden, a Galician granary (horreo) and a two-story dollhouse, with approximately 50 m2, are included. Or the Asturian, starting with the beautiful and natural Peñarronda Beach, 2 minutes by car, and continuing along the coast: to Frejulfe beach, the brown beach of Navia, Artedo, Barayo, Cadavedo, Porcía … all good beaches for bathing and surfing.
